House Speaker Mike Johnson and Representative Jim Jordan accused the Democratic Party of embracing socialism and antisemitism, while Johnson expressed hope that the war against Iran would conclude before the election. Democratic Majority for Israel criticized the private nature of the session, arguing that Vance should face public questioning regarding his record and his failure to confront antisemitism within the MAGA movement.
