London Police Investigate Your Party Database Breach
The Metropolitan Police are investigating unauthorized access to Your Party's database following a leadership dispute over the creation of a membership portal.
The Metropolitan Police have launched a criminal investigation into the unauthorized access of a database belonging to Your Party. The probe follows a September 2025 report and an advisory from the Information Commissioner's Office, which indicated the breach may have involved serious criminal activity.
The investigation is linked to a July 2025 internal split. Zarah Sultana launched a membership portal that Jeremy Corbyn described as a false membership system. Sultana previously accused the party of being run by a sexist boys’ club.
Authorities have arrested one man and interviewed one woman under caution for suspected offenses under the 1990 Computer Misuse Act. Neither individual is a Member of Parliament, and police have not accused Corbyn or Sultana of wrongdoing. A spokesperson for Your Party stated the incident was isolated and that party systems remain secure.
