BJP President Nitin Nabin Coordinates NDA Strategy for 2027 Polls
BJP National President Nitin Nabin led strategic meetings in Lucknow to unify the National Democratic Alliance for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
Bharatiya Janata Party National President Nitin Nabin conducted a two-day organizational visit to Lucknow on July 4 and 5, 2026, to coordinate the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) strategy for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. Nabin presided over meetings with former state BJP presidents and a joint session of alliance constituents at the Taj Hotel to streamline an electoral roadmap focused on surpassing the coalition's 2017 benchmarks.
Alliance partners, including the Rashtriya Lok Dal, Nishad Party, Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party, and Apna Dal (Sonelal), committed to contesting as a united front. Leaders such as Sanjay Nishad and Ashish Patel emphasized that the coalition is prioritizing a historic victory and a clean sweep over seat-sharing negotiations. Om Prakash Rajbhar stated that the alliance is preparing for all 403 Assembly seats to exceed their 2017 performance.
BJP leadership tied their campaign to the governance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya asserted that the alliance would secure a third consecutive term based on development, contrasting their platform against the Samajwadi Party. Nabin described Uttar Pradesh as a primary engine for national growth and projected that the state would achieve developed status ahead of the national 2047 vision.
