KPMG LLP and OpenAI Partner to Build AI-Native Enterprise Systems

KPMG LLP and OpenAI are collaborating to build AI-native enterprise systems and supply chain platforms for public and private sector clients.

The professional services firm KPMG LLP and OpenAI have established a partnership to develop AI-native enterprise systems designed for public and private sector clients. As an OpenAI Elite Partner, KPMG LLP is integrating AI into enterprise processes to automate workflows, accelerate decision-making, and simplify user experiences.

The collaboration includes the development of an AI-native supply chain and fulfillment orchestration platform. To refine this system, KPMG LLP is acting as a client-zero deployment within the OpenAI environment to model an AI-first enterprise. This development is supported by a forward deployed engineer model, which places senior KPMG LLP engineers directly with OpenAI teams to increase speed of implementation.

The partnership also targets the public sector by modernizing KRIS Connected, a suite of SaaS solutions used by state and local governments in the United States. The goal is to transition public agencies from legacy systems toward connected case management and service delivery. Chad Seiler of KPMG LLP noted that SaaS is evolving to become agentic, while OpenAI's Colleen Kapase emphasized the use of AI models directly within enterprise and public-sector platforms.
