Chanel Comparable Revenue Climbs 16 Percent in First Half 2026
Chanel S.A. reported a 16 percent increase in comparable revenue for the first half of 2026, driven by strong fashion and jewelry sales in the United States.
Chanel S.A. reported a 16 percent increase in comparable revenue for the first half of 2026, outperforming luxury rivals including LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE. The growth was primarily fueled by the fashion division, which generates approximately 60 percent of the company's total revenue and grew by 16 percent. This surge followed the March commercialization of new collections by designer Matthieu Blazy.
The watches and fine jewelry division experienced a more significant 35 percent surge. This growth was attributed to a recovery in the watch segment and strong performance from the Coco Crush line. Geographically, the United States led the expansion with sales increasing more than 25 percent, although the company also recorded gains in the Middle East and China.
Despite the strong start to the year, the company expects growth to slow during the second half of 2026. This projected deceleration is attributed to a more challenging comparison basis.
