Morgan Stanley Reports Record Q2 2026 Net Revenue
Morgan Stanley achieved record quarterly net revenue of $21.35 billion and surpassed $10 trillion in total client assets.
Morgan Stanley reported record financial results for the second quarter of 2026, posting net revenue of $21.35 billion, which represents a 27.1% increase year-over-year. The bank's equities trading revenue reached an all-time high of $6.3 billion, fueled by the expansion of the artificial intelligence trade into markets including Hong Kong, India, Japan, and South Korea.
The firm's Wealth and Investment Management franchise surpassed a milestone of $10 trillion in total client assets. This growth contributed to a record quarterly revenue of $8.9 billion for the wealth management division. These figures align with a broader trend across Wall Street, where the five largest U.S. banks combined for approximately $49 billion in net income during the quarter.
CEO Ted Pick stated that the bank is operating from a position of structural strength and remains open to bolt-on acquisitions. Following the report, Freedom Brokers Ltd upgraded the company's rating to Buy and increased its price objective to $245.
