Hornbeck Offshore Secures Multi-Year North Sea Decommissioning Contract

Hornbeck Offshore Services, Inc. secured a multi-year decommissioning contract in the North Sea through its subsidiary, Helix Well Ops (U.K.) Limited. The agreement, which begins in the second quarter of 2027, carries a firm two-year duration with options for further extension.

Hornbeck will deliver an integrated solution for riserless plug and abandonment operations using either the Well Enhancer or Seawell vessels. The contract scope includes project management, engineering services, saturation diving, remotely operated vehicles, and a well access system.

President and CEO Todd M. Hornbeck stated that the award builds on previous success and strengthens the company's expertise in delivering safe, efficient, rigless decommissioning solutions in the region.
