Apple Unveils Smart Home Lineup and Foldable iPhone Duo
Apple is launching a suite of smart home devices and a foldable iPhone Duo to stimulate investor confidence and expand its hardware ecosystem.
Apple Inc. is introducing a series of new hardware products this week to boost its stock price and stimulate investor confidence. The company is holding a smart-home event on Tuesday, October 13, to unveil a new product lineup. This ecosystem expansion includes the HomeView smart display, an upgraded Apple TV 4K, a refreshed HomePod mini, an Apple doorbell, and an Apple thermostat.
The company's product rollout extends beyond the home. Apple will open pre-orders this Friday for the iPhone Duo, a foldable device described as the most significant design change in the history of the iPhone. The foldable phone is expected to carry a high price point.
Further releases are scheduled for later in October, with Apple planning to launch a touchscreen MacBook and a new iPad mini to round out its hardware updates.
