Lemonade Inc. Raises Revenue Forecast After 79 Percent Growth
Lemonade Inc. increased its 2026 revenue forecast to $1.217 billion following a second-quarter revenue surge of 79 percent driven by AI automation.
Lemonade Inc. reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $294.4 million, representing a 79 percent increase year-over-year. The company attributes this growth to the integration of artificial intelligence to automate insurance claims and quotes, which resulted in a record low loss adjustment expense ratio of 5 percent and a record low gross loss ratio of 60 percent.
As of June 30, 2026, the company served 3.3 million policyholders with $1.4 billion in in-force premium. Based on these results, management raised its full-year 2026 revenue forecast to a midpoint of $1.217 billion.
These developments align with a 10-year growth strategy established in late 2024. The company intends to expand into new markets, including car insurance, to reach a target of $10 billion in in-force premium by 2034.
