Israel Restores Security and Economy Ahead of October 7 Anniversary
Israeli Ambassador Reuven Azar announced the restoration of national security and economic growth while warning of continued military pressure on Hamas.
Israeli Ambassador Reuven Azar announced that Israel has restored national security and revived its economy ahead of the third anniversary of the October 7 attacks. Speaking from New Delhi, Azar reported that the economy is booming, with growth of 15% in the first quarter and 7% in the second.
To ensure long-term stability, the Israeli government established strategic buffer zones in the Gaza Strip, South Lebanon, and Syria. While Azar noted that peace negotiations with Lebanon have progressed through several rounds, he stated that a permanent agreement for Gaza remains stalled because Hamas is refusing to disarm.
Azar warned that Israel will maintain military pressure on Hamas if diplomatic efforts fail, asserting that the group prioritizes its own power over the interests of the Gaza population. He also indicated that Israel is increasing its security alignment with Gulf partners to counter the Iran axis.
