Mondelez Reports Second Quarter Growth and Announces 2027 Strategy
Mondelez International reported second-quarter revenue of $9.36 billion and unveiled a growth plan for 2027 featuring a global Oreo relaunch and Biscoff partnership.
Mondelez International, Inc. exceeded Wall Street expectations for both revenue and earnings for the fourth consecutive quarter in its second-quarter 2026 financial report released July 28. Net revenue increased 4.1% year-over-year to $9.36 billion, with adjusted earnings per share reaching $0.73.
Regional performance showed a divide between growth and contraction. Emerging markets, led by India, Mexico, and Brazil, drove organic growth of 4.4%, while Europe experienced a 3.5% organic revenue decline. In North America, the company expanded its market share within the biscuit category, specifically through the Oreo brand.
To drive top-line growth moving into 2027, the company announced a global relaunch of Oreo and a multi-category partnership with Biscoff. The Biscoff collaboration is projected to generate between $500 million and $1 billion in incremental revenue.
