Arcapita to Invest $1.5 Billion in GCC Logistics Real Estate
Arcapita Group Holdings will invest $1.5 billion in industrial and logistics real estate across the Gulf Cooperation Council over the next 24 months.
Arcapita Group Holdings announced plans to invest $1.5 billion in industrial and logistics real estate across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) over the next 24 months. Unveiled during the Gateway Gulf Investment Forum 2026 in Manama, the investment focuses on the acquisition and development of high-quality, build-to-suit assets for regional and international occupiers.
The strategy will be executed through Lintara Properties, Arcapita's dedicated development and asset management platform that currently oversees more than $2 billion in assets. Company leadership cited regional economic diversification, a limited supply of institutional-quality facilities, and a growing need for supply chain resilience and regional self-sufficiency as the primary drivers for the expansion.
This new funding follows several major regional projects, including the construction of the 1.4 million-square-meter ASMO logistics hub at King Salman Energy Park in Saudi Arabia. In the United Arab Emirates, the firm recently completed a 30,000-square-meter purpose-built facility for DSV and is developing a 20,000-square-meter Grade A logistics center for DP World in the Jebel Ali Free Zone.
