Conservative MP Claims Luton Has No-Go Zones
Blake Stephenson, a shadow Conservative Home Office minister, claimed Luton contains no-go zones for white people, sparking condemnation from Labour MP Sarah Owen.
Shadow Conservative Home Office minister Blake Stephenson claimed during a party conference fringe meeting in Birmingham that Luton contains no-go zones where white people will not go. Stephenson described the town as a very dangerous place with communities living in ghettoes, which he attributed to the absolute disaster of mass migration.
Stephenson further alleged that the government practices state-sponsored racism by reserving internships for racial minorities, an action he claimed discriminates against young white men. These assertions mirror rhetoric previously used by far-right figures.
Sarah Owen, the Labour MP for Luton North, condemned the remarks as deeply irresponsible and rightwing nonsense, urging the local coalition-run council to disown the comments. Bedfordshire Police have previously denied the existence of no-go areas within the region.
