Related Ross Acquires Boca Raton Innovation Campus

Related Ross acquired the Boca Raton Innovation Campus (BRiC), a 1.7-million-square-foot site spanning 124 acres in Florida. The campus was originally developed by IBM as its North American research and development center and is the location where the first personal computer was created.

Newmark Group, Inc. arranged the acquisition financing through Ares. The developer intends to maintain the site as a technology and office hub while adding a curated selection of restaurants, retail, and amenities. This move marks the first entry of Related Ross into the Boca Raton market and expands its overall footprint within Palm Beach County.

Nick Scribani, Vice Chairman at Newmark Group, Inc., described the acquisition as a generationally significant development opportunity due to the site's legacy, scale, and strategic location.
