Telangana Government Marks 1,000 Days Amid Opposition Protests

The Congress-led government in Telangana marked 1,000 days in office on Tuesday. To commemorate the milestone, Revanth Reddy, the Chief Minister of Telangana, inaugurated the Moosarambagh flyover in the Amberpet constituency. Congress leaders highlighted the project as a significant achievement, noting that it had previously stalled under the Bharat Rashtra Samithi administration.

Congress leaders Motha Rohit and V Hanumantha Rao praised the administration's rapid pace of development. Rohit claimed the government implemented programs in 1,000 days that would typically take a thousand years, while Rao challenged opposition leaders to attend the Assembly session starting September 7 to discuss the government's record.

Opposition parties responded with coordinated protests. The Bharatiya Janata Party placed posters across Hyderabad depicting the Chief Minister with a bag of money to criticize the administration. Simultaneously, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi initiated a statewide campaign alleging that the Congress government betrayed the public.
