Tuberville and Jones Report Final Campaign Funds for Alabama Race

Republican Tommy Tuberville and Democrat Doug Jones reported divergent fundraising patterns in the final days of the 2026 Alabama governor's race.

Campaign filings through November 2 reveal a stark contrast in fundraising strategies between the leading candidates in the Alabama governor's race. Tommy Tuberville, a Republican U.S. Senator, raised $424,416 from 690 contributions between October 28 and November 2, with the majority of funds coming from businesses and high-dollar donors.

During the same period, Democrat Doug Jones raised $296,089 from 4,907 contributions. While Jones secured a higher volume of individual gifts, 96% of those donations were $100 or less. These final figures bring Tuberville's total fundraising to approximately $18.2 million since May 2025, while Jones has raised about $7.1 million since November 24, 2025.

Spending patterns also diverged sharply in the final week. Jones spent $378,256, primarily on media and advertising campaigns. In contrast, Tuberville's reported spending for the same period was limited to $3,748, which covered only bank and processing fees.
