Renault Third-Quarter Revenue Rises to 11.60 Billion Euros
Renault SA reported third-quarter revenue of 11.60 billion euros, beating analyst expectations through strong electric vehicle sales and growth in its financial services division.
Renault SA reported third-quarter revenue of 11.60 billion euros, representing a 1.5% year-on-year increase. This performance exceeded analyst expectations, which had predicted a 0.3% decline for the period.
The growth was primarily driven by an 11% revenue increase at Mobilize Financial Services and a surge in electric vehicle sales in Europe. Electric vehicle sales rose 84.7% year-on-year, accounting for 25.8% of the company's passenger car sales. These gains offset a 6% decline in overall vehicle sales volumes, which dropped to 497,799 units.
Brand performance varied across the portfolio. While Dacia and Renault brand sales declined by 12.8% and 2.9% respectively, Alpine sales grew by 58.4%.
Renault reaffirmed its full-year 2026 outlook, forecasting a group operating margin of approximately 5.5% of revenue and automotive free cash flow of about 1 billion euros. The company expects a slight operating margin improvement in the second half of the year, though it noted that inflation and raw-material costs may dampen seasonal growth.
