Qatar Airways Suspends Flights After Iranian Strikes on U.S. Assets

Qatar Airways suspended flight services to Bahrain, Kuwait, and Erbil on July 23, 2026, citing regional security tensions. The airline halted flights to Bahrain International Airport and Erbil International Airport through July 25, while services to Kuwait International Airport remain suspended until July 31.

The suspensions follow a series of retaliatory missile and drone strikes launched by Iran against United States assets in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan. These Iranian actions occurred in response to previous military attacks conducted by the United States.
