UAE Construction Market Projected to Reach $167.2 Billion by 2031
Mordor Intelligence projects the United Arab Emirates construction market will reach $167.2 billion by 2031, driven by urban development and technology adoption.
The construction market in the United Arab Emirates is projected to reach $167.2 billion (AED 614.4 billion) by 2031, according to a report by Mordor Intelligence. This growth stems from sustained public and private investment, major urban development plans, and large-scale infrastructure projects.
Dubai serves as the primary engine for this expansion, accounting for 47.2% of the national construction market in 2025. To manage the increasing scale and complexity of these projects, the industry is increasingly adopting technologies such as Building Information Modelling (BIM), Virtual Reality, and Augmented Reality. These tools enable developers and investors to evaluate designs and floor plans during the pre-construction phase to improve decision-making and the customer experience.
Georges Calas, CEO of Lifesize Plans Dubai, noted that the continued expansion of the market reflects the scale of development across the country and the growing expectations of both developers and buyers.
