Google Launches Pixel 11 Smartphone Series with Tensor G6

Google released three new flagship smartphones: the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro XL. All three devices are powered by the Tensor G6 chip, which utilizes a 3nm process and a 7-core CPU to deliver a 50% increase in AI computational power, though it employs an older Series C GPU architecture that lacks ray tracing support.

The compact Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro are priced at approximately €900 and €1,100, respectively. Both offer similar battery life and a new Extreme wired charging mode. The Pro model adds an LTPO OLED screen with a dynamic refresh rate of 1Hz-120Hz, higher resolution, and superior telephoto and ultrawide camera sensors. It also supports up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, while the standard Pixel 11 is lighter and optimized for close-up photography.

The large-format Pixel 11 Pro XL features a 6.8-inch OLED display and starts at $1,299, a $100 increase over the previous year's model. It includes 12GB or 16GB of RAM and a triple rear camera system. Software updates include Android 17, a faster Night Sight mode, and the Magic Capture video tool. The Pro XL also bundles a six-month subscription to Google AI Pro for access to the Gemini Omni video generator. Despite these AI advancements, the device trails some competitors in raw processing performance.
