Israeli Forces and Settlers Kill 11 Palestinians in Gaza and West Bank

Israeli forces and settlers killed at least 11 Palestinians across Gaza and the West Bank amid reports of ceasefire violations and attacks on olive harvests.

Israeli forces and settlers killed at least 11 Palestinians across the Gaza Strip and the West Bank during a recent period of violence. In Gaza, drone strikes, shelling, and gunfire killed between four and six people on October 18, including two children, a woman, and a civilian. These deaths occurred despite a ceasefire agreement reached in October 2025. Gaza-based health authorities report 1,517 fatalities since that ceasefire, while the Gaza Government Media Office claims over 5,000 Israeli violations of the agreement.

Simultaneously, the Cabinet of Israel and its settlers killed five Palestinians in the West Bank. UN reports indicate that settler violence has specifically targeted the annual olive harvest, with 200 attacks documented since September. Israeli orders to uproot olive trees have further threatened civilian livelihoods, prompting UN human rights experts to demand an end to the occupation and settlement activities.

In Gaza, the humanitarian situation has deteriorated as Israel halted commercial goods shipments, a move Palestinian importers call unilateral. Nearly one million displaced Palestinians now face high risks of winter flooding compounded by severe funding shortages for food and shelter programs.
