Amazon and Best Buy Discount Pixel Phones Before iPhone 18 Pro Launch

Retailers Amazon and Best Buy have implemented significant price cuts across several Google Pixel smartphone models ahead of the September 18 release of Apple's iPhone 18 Pro. The discounts target both older and current generations of hardware as Google competes for consumers during the annual Apple launch window.

Price reductions include the Pixel 10a, which dropped from $499 to $424, and the Pixel 11, now discounted by approximately $60 to $840. The high-end Pixel 11 Pro has seen its 256GB configuration price fall to around $1,007. Additionally, Amazon has introduced a 20% discount on the Pixel 10 Pro 128GB Obsidian model, reducing it from $999 to $799, while other color variants like Moonstone and Porcelain are listed at $930.

To further incentivize upgrades, Amazon is offering trade-in credits ranging from $420 for the Pixel 10a to as much as $795 for other models, depending on the device condition. These promotions highlight Google's latest software features, including the Gemini-powered Camera Coach on the 10a and Magic Capture on the Pixel 11 series.
