CoreWeave Launches Forge AI Tools at San Francisco Conference
CoreWeave launched Forge, a new set of AI development tools designed to help clients train and improve AI models more efficiently.
CoreWeave introduced a new suite of AI development tools called Forge during its first large-scale user conference, CoreWeave Fully Connected, in San Francisco. Mike Intrator, the company's CEO, stated that Forge is designed to help a diverse range of clients, from frontier labs to established companies like Caterpillar, train and improve AI models more efficiently.
Intrator described the software solution as a response to client demand for tools that address unique AI problems and expects the product to be accretive to company margins. During the event, Intrator rejected the label of a neo cloud, instead characterizing CoreWeave as the "original AI cloud."
Addressing broader industry challenges, Intrator asserted that data center moratoria do not reduce the overall demand for compute but merely shift where infrastructure is built. He noted that while the company monitors various accelerators, CoreWeave remains heavily reliant on NVIDIA GPUs. Intrator reported that the company is currently overwhelmed by demand and is largely sold out of NVIDIA infrastructure for several years.
