Thales and Google Cloud Partner to Secure Agentic AI

Thales and Google Cloud expanded their collaboration to secure agentic AI workflows for enterprises. The partnership integrates the Thales AI Security Fabric with Google Cloud Gemini Enterprise to provide real-time security, governance, and visibility across interactions between users, AI agents, models, and tools.

This integration targets risks specific to autonomous AI agents, including prompt injection, sensitive data leakage, and unauthorized actions during interactions with critical business systems. By applying controls to keep agents within authorized boundaries, the collaboration enables organizations to move from AI experimentation to secure, large-scale deployment while maintaining compliance and oversight.

Eva Rudin, Senior Vice President of Cybersecurity Products at Thales, noted that the shift toward agents that autonomously take action and make decisions requires a fundamentally different approach to security. Vineet Bhan, Director of Security and Identity Partnerships at Google Cloud, stated that the partnership helps organizations protect agentic AI workflows and adopt the next generation of AI with greater confidence.
