Kamala Harris Campaigns for David Crowley in Wisconsin

Former Vice President Kamala Harris campaigned for Democratic gubernatorial candidate David Crowley in Milwaukee as Republican opponent Tom Tiffany dismissed the visit as a sign of desperation.

Former Vice President Kamala Harris visited Milwaukee on Monday, October 26, to campaign for Democratic gubernatorial nominee David Crowley eight days before the November 3 election. During a Women for Crowley event and a town hall with the NAACP, Harris urged supporters to "turn anger into action" and criticized the administration of President Donald Trump as the "most callous and corrupt and incompetent presidential administration in the history of America."

Harris focused her messaging on reproductive rights, childcare costs, Medicare funding, and the economy. She specifically criticized Republican candidate Tom Tiffany for supporting efforts to overturn the 2020 election and warned against governors who might refuse to certify election results. Crowley, the current Milwaukee County Executive, campaigned alongside Harris and Governor Tony Evers in West Bend to build a broad coalition, positioning himself as a leader for all Wisconsin communities.

Republican candidate Tom Tiffany responded during a statewide bus tour with stops in Racine. Tiffany dismissed Harris's appearance as a sign of "desperation" and claimed that enthusiasm for Crowley is lacking. He urged voters to reject Crowley's "tax-hiking, spending spree, and toll road agenda." Tiffany also noted that President Donald Trump has no scheduled events in Wisconsin during the final week of the campaign, as the president is focusing on congressional races.
