OpenAI Private Valuation May Reach 1 Trillion Dollars

OpenAI may have reached a market valuation of 1 trillion dollars on the private market. This potential milestone follows a March funding round that valued the developer at 852 billion dollars and the expansion of ChatGPT to nearly 1 billion weekly active users.

Three technology giants have established critical partnerships to support the company's growth. Microsoft invested 13 billion dollars and secured a deal through 2032 as the primary cloud partner with royalty-free access to frontier models. In September 2025, Nvidia announced plans to invest up to 100 billion dollars and deploy at least 10 gigawatts of computing systems to facilitate the training of next-generation models.

Oracle has also secured large cloud infrastructure deals with the AI developer. These combined partnerships have contributed to a total contracted revenue backlog of 638 billion dollars.
