Oracle Trucks Natural Gas to Power AI Data Centers

Oracle Corp. is trucking natural gas directly to its server farms to prevent power delays from stalling the construction of its data centers. The company uses this method to maintain progress while awaiting the completion and integration of permanent gas pipelines.

This strategy enabled a data center on the outskirts of Salt Lake City to continue development for over a year. Oracle is now applying the same approach to facilitate initial work at a new campus in Shackelford County, Texas, which is being constructed for OpenAI.
