Bridge Data Centres Seeks $6.6 Billion Loan for Malaysia
Bridge Data Centres is negotiating with banks to increase its Malaysian operational loan to approximately $6.6 billion, potentially marking one of Asia's largest data center financing deals.
Bridge Data Centres, owned by Bain Capital, is negotiating with banks to increase an existing loan for its Malaysian operations to approximately $6.6 billion. This request follows a previous attempt to raise the loan to at least $5 billion from an original $2.8 billion secured last year.
If successful, the arrangement would represent one of the largest financing deals for the data center sector in Asia. The company may launch the expanded deal into the market as early as November.
