Jaguar Land Rover Australia Recalls 94 Range Rover Sport SVs
Jaguar Land Rover Australia recalled 94 Range Rover Sport SV vehicles due to rear subframe cracks that could compromise structural strength during collisions.
Jaguar Land Rover Australia recalled 94 Range Rover Sport SV vehicles manufactured between 2023 and 2026 after discovering a manufacturing defect in the rear subframes. The recall, designated as campaign D166, was published on October 14.
The federal government's vehicle safety regulator warned that possible cracks in the subframes may worsen over time. This degradation could compromise the structural strength of the SUVs, increasing the risk of serious injury or death if the vehicles are involved in a rear-end collision.
Jaguar Land Rover Australia will contact affected owners to arrange inspections and perform free repairs if cracks are identified. There have been no reports of crashes or injuries linked to the defect.
