Bharat Electronics Reports Q1 FY27 Revenue Growth and Profit Rise
Bharat Electronics reported a 25% year-on-year revenue increase for Q1 FY27 and proposed increasing its authorized share capital to 1,000 crore.
Bharat Electronics Ltd reported its Q1 FY27 financial results on July 27, 2026, highlighting a year-on-year increase in both revenue and net profit. Revenue from operations rose approximately 25% to a range between 5,533 crore and 5,546.98 crore, while net profit grew by 8% to 9% YoY, reaching between 1,048 crore and 1,054.53 crore.
Despite the annual growth, the company experienced a significant sequential decline, with net profit dropping approximately 52% compared to the March quarter. As of July 1, 2026, the company maintained an order book valued at 72,258 crore. Recent activity includes securing over 2,200 crore in orders for defense and electronic equipment between May and July.
To support future growth, the board approved a proposal to increase the company's authorized share capital from 750 crore to 1,000 crore. This measure remains pending shareholder approval at the upcoming annual general meeting.
