Brad Little Wins Third Term as Idaho Governor

Governor Brad Little won reelection to a third four-year term in Idaho, defeating Democrat Terri Pickens and Independent John Stegner.

Brad Little won reelection to a third four-year term as Governor of Idaho on Tuesday night, securing approximately 55.21% of the vote. He defeated Democratic challenger Terri Pickens, who received 34.23%, and Independent candidate John Stegner, who earned 7.7%.

During his victory speech in Boise, Little attributed his win to job growth, economic resilience, and a commitment to Idaho values. His administration has implemented over $6 billion in tax cuts, established the Idaho LAUNCH program for high school seniors, and signed a $50 million school choice tax credit. Despite recent budget holdbacks caused by revenue shortfalls, Little stated he remains committed to transportation infrastructure and the LAUNCH program for the upcoming legislative session.

Opponents Terri Pickens and John Stegner criticized Little's record, specifically targeting the Parental Choice Tax Credit program and state abortion laws. Pickens argued that the state needed to elect leaders who would not bend the knee to billionaires.
