Newmark CEO Barry Gosin to Step Down by Year End

Barry Gosin, the Chief Executive Officer of Newmark Group Inc., will step down from his role by the end of 2026. Gosin has led the New York-based commercial-property brokerage since 1979, marking nearly 50 years of leadership.

While resigning as CEO, Gosin will remain the chairman of Newmark's operating company. He stated that the company is "stronger than ever" and that the timing of his departure allows him to focus on strategic matters and support the transition. Newmark currently holds a market capitalization exceeding $3.8 billion.

The board of directors expects to appoint a new CEO by the end of the year to succeed Gosin.
