Pakistan Security Forces Shoot Down Five Drones in Balochistan
Pakistan security forces intercepted five drones in the Kharan district of Balochistan, foiling an attack attributed to the militant group Fitna al-Hindustan.
Security forces from the Government of Pakistan shot down five drones on October 30, 2026, in the Albat area of the Kharan district in Balochistan. The drones were intercepted before they could reach a security check-post, and the operation resulted in no casualties or property damage.
Security sources identified the perpetrator as Fitna al-Hindustan, which they described as an Indian proxy. This incident follows a broader increase in cross-border militancy across Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Pakistani military is currently conducting Operation Azm-e-Istehkam to eliminate foreign-sponsored terrorism. Simultaneously, Islamabad continues to urge the Afghan Taliban to ensure its territory is not utilized by militant organizations.
