Cai Qi Opens Long March 90th Anniversary Exhibition

Cai Qi, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, opened a themed exhibition on September 22, 2026, to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the Long March victory. The event took place at the Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution in Beijing.

The exhibition covers 3,300 square meters and displays 875 cultural relics, 186 historical documents, and 357 photographs and charts, with approximately 28 percent of the items appearing for the first time. Organized into seven sections, the display highlights the Zunyi Meeting and major military operations to educate visitors on patriotism and revolutionary traditions.

During the opening ceremony attended by 600 guests, Cai Qi described the Long March as a "great turning point for the CPC and the Chinese revolution" and a "towering monument in the historic process of the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation."
