In Assam, Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya paid floral tributes at the State War Memorial in Guwahati and honored the families of martyrs, including the parents of Captain Jintu Gogoi. Simultaneously, Lieutenant General Devendra Sharma of the Army Training Command led a wreath-laying ceremony at Annandale's Shradhhanjali Sthal and visited the Army Heritage Museum. The commemorations linked the military's sacrifice to the broader national vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
