Israel Defense Forces Kill Hamas Commanders Across Gaza Strip
The Israel Defense Forces conducted multiple airstrikes across the Gaza Strip to eliminate Hamas commanders and dismantle weapons storage facilities.
The Israel Defense Forces conducted a series of precision airstrikes across the Gaza Strip between October 22 and October 30, 2026, targeting Hamas commanders and operatives. The military reported eliminating several high-ranking individuals, including platoon commanders Ihab Jamil Abu Taqiya and Ibrahim Gihad Muhammad Abu Oshaiba in Nuseirat, as well as Nukhba Force members Muhammad Kamel Musleh Qudeih and Wael Naif Fahmi Muslim.
Other targeted individuals included sniper commander Mohannad Nader Mahmoud Dahdouh, rocket squad commander Arafat Kamal Muhammad Ar’air, and recruitment head Nabil Hamad. The military identified several of these targets as participants in the October 7, 2023, attacks, including Anas Akram Muhammad Humaida and Ashraf Mahmoud Yusuf Dahlan.
Beyond personnel targets, the military dismantled two weapons storage facilities in Bureij and Gaza City that contained rifles, RPGs, and rockets. The Israel Defense Forces stated these operations were necessary because Hamas was rebuilding military capabilities and planning attacks in "systematic violation of the ceasefire." The military noted the use of aerial surveillance and precision munitions to minimize civilian harm during the operations.
