In Gauteng province, the retail price of 95-octane gasoline will increase by 3.33 rand per liter, representing a 12% rise. This adjustment brings the pump price to 30.25 rand per liter, the highest level ever recorded in the country.

Beyond retail gasoline, the agency expects the wholesale cost of diesel to increase by as much as 3.24 rand per liter.
