SambaNova Raises $1 Billion and Partners with JPMorgan Chase

SambaNova Systems raised $1 billion in Series F funding and secured JPMorgan Chase as a partner for on-premises AI inference infrastructure.

SambaNova Systems completed the first close of a $1 billion Series F financing round, bringing the AI infrastructure company's post-money valuation to $11 billion. General Atlantic led the investment, with participation from the Qatar Investment Authority, Intel Capital, T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc., Capital Group, and Seligman Ventures. This represents a significant valuation increase from $2 billion in February 2026.

The company plans to use the capital to expand global deployment capacity, accelerate product innovation, and scale its AI infrastructure for enterprise, neo-cloud, and sovereign AI customers. Co-founder and CEO Rodrigo Liang stated the company is strongly considering a U.S. IPO in 2027 to further accelerate scaling and secure its supply chain.

Concurrent with the funding, JPMorgan Chase selected SambaNova as its inference infrastructure partner. The bank will deploy SN40 and SN50 systems to run demanding enterprise AI workloads securely within its own firewalls. SambaNova continues to maintain a multi-year partnership with Intel to co-develop Xeon-based AI inference products and lists Saudi Aramco and various Japanese firms as customers.
