Apple Inc. Approaches Historic $5 Trillion Market Capitalization
Apple Inc. is nearing a $5 trillion market capitalization following record services revenue and a $100 billion share repurchase authorization.
Apple Inc. is approximately 4% away from reaching a $5 trillion market capitalization, which would require its share price to rise to roughly $340 from a record close of $327.50. If achieved, the company would become only the second entity to reach this valuation, following Nvidia, which first hit the milestone in October 2025.
The company's trajectory is supported by strong financial performance, including fiscal second-quarter revenue of $111.2 billion, representing a 17% year-over-year increase. This growth is bolstered by a record $31 billion in services revenue. To further support stock demand, the board authorized $100 billion in share repurchases in April.
While high earnings multiples pose a risk should growth decelerate, analysts indicate that the June-quarter results due in late July may act as the catalyst necessary for the company to cross the $5 trillion threshold by the end of 2026.
