U.S. Army Awards $208 Million Munitions Contract to Trinzic
The U.S. Army awarded a $208 million task order to Trinzic, a planned KBR spin-off, to support tactical aviation and ground munitions.
The United States Army awarded a five-year, estimated $208 million cost-plus-fixed-fee task order to Trinzic, the planned spin-off of the Mission Technology Solutions business from KBR. Issued under the One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services Plus (OASIS+) vehicle, the contract focuses on the Tactical Aviation and Ground Munitions (TAGM) portfolio.
Trinzic will provide end-to-end support, including global logistics, rapid prototyping, and advanced engineering for key weapon systems such as Javelin, HELLFIRE, and the Joint Air-to-Ground Missile (JAGM). The award supports Army modernization priorities regarding aviation lethality and multi-domain operations.
Trinzic is scheduled to become an independent public company in January 2027. The new entity is expected to launch with more than $5 billion in annual revenue and a workforce of approximately 18,000 employees.
