Iran Launches Drone Strikes Against Al-Jaber Base in Kuwait

The Military of Iran, including the Iranian Army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, launched a series of drone attacks against the Al-Jaber base in Kuwait on July 31, 2026. This operation served as the 27th wave of retaliatory strikes, specifically targeting fighter jet hangars, satellite communication systems, and equipment depots.

The strikes occurred in response to a United States airstrike on a residential home in Qeshm, Iran, which killed a mother, father, and their two-year-old child. The Iranian military characterized the operation as a large-scale effort designed to make interception by opposing forces both difficult and costly.
