China and Vietnam Discuss Shared Future in Beijing Meeting
Wang Huning met with a Vietnamese Communist Party delegation in Beijing to advance a shared future and implement bilateral strategic consensus.
Chinese political advisor Wang Huning met with a delegation from the Communist Party of Vietnam in Beijing on Tuesday to strengthen bilateral ties. The Vietnamese delegation was led by Le Minh Tri, chairman of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee's Commission for Internal Affairs.
Wang emphasized the strategic communication between General Secretary Xi Jinping and General Secretary To Lam, focusing on a consensus reached in April concerning the global socialism cause and party relations. He stated that China is ready to work with Vietnam to implement this consensus and advance the building of a China-Vietnam community with a shared future.
Le Minh Tri congratulated the Communist Party of China on its 105th anniversary. He affirmed Vietnam's commitment to the bilateral goals and expressed a willingness to draw on the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics to build the shared future community.
