Domestic Airlines Resume Flights After Aviation Unions End Strike

Domestic airlines resumed flight operations on Tuesday after aviation unions suspended an industrial action that stranded hundreds of passengers and forced numerous cancellations.

Domestic airlines resumed flight operations on Tuesday after aviation unions suspended their industrial action. The strike caused widespread disruptions across several airports, resulting in the cancellation or postponement of numerous services and leaving hundreds of passengers stranded.

Air Peace reported that it had cancelled 29 of its typical 70 daily regional and international flights by Tuesday afternoon. Following the decision by the unions to halt the strike, the airline and other carriers began rescheduling cancelled flights and working to clear the passenger backlog.

Air Peace is currently assessing the number of stranded travelers at various airports to determine necessary schedule adjustments to accommodate those waiting for transport.
