Abdul El-Sayed Spars With Jesse Watters Over Sharia Law

Michigan Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed appeared in a lengthy interview with Fox News host Jesse Watters on Monday night. The appearance followed El-Sayed's narrow primary victory and served as an attempt to expand his political appeal beyond the far-left.

While the conversation began cordially, it shifted into a tense exchange over several contentious issues. El-Sayed defended his proposal to abolish U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and argued that medical decisions regarding transgender surgery should remain between families and doctors.
