Motorola will launch its premium Signature 27 smartphone globally on November 5. First showcased at the Snapdragon Summit in September, the device is positioned as a high-end product, with a European retailer listing indicating a high price point. Some reports estimate the cost at approximately 1,595 euros or 1 lakh rupees in India.
The smartphone features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset and a 165 Hz AMOLED display. To manage performance, the device includes an ArcticMesh cooling system with a vapor chamber 40% larger than the previous generation. The hardware is rounded out by audio tuned by Bang & Olufsen and a quad rear camera system. This system includes a 50MP Sony Lytia 910 main sensor with optical image stabilization, a 200MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide lens.
Software specifications confirm the phone will ship with Android 17, and the company has committed to seven years of operating system updates. Conflicting reports exist regarding battery and storage capacities, with estimates ranging between a 6,000mAh battery with 1TB of storage and a 7,000mAh battery with 512GB of storage. While the global launch is set for November 5, the specific release date for the Indian market remains unconfirmed despite a November window listed on the company website.
