All seven of Oregon's incumbent members of Congress are on track to retain their seats following the November 2026 elections. Early results show Democratic U.S. Representatives Maxine Dexter, Janelle Bynum, Val Hoyle, and Andrea Salinas leading their respective races, while Republican Representative Cliff Bentz secured reelection to Oregon's 2nd Congressional District with 61% of the vote. Bentz, the sole Republican in the state's congressional delegation, defeated former state lawmaker Chris Beck, who received 38.69%.
Bentz faced criticism during the campaign for replacing public town halls with moderated online forums and refusing four separate debate invitations from media outlets and the League of Women Voters. He justified the refusals by stating that accepting a debate would suggest his opponent was a credible candidate.
In the 5th Congressional District, Janelle Bynum leads Republican Patti Adair by nearly 10 points. Bynum noted that her goal was to defend the seat to help Democrats regain control of the U.S. House, describing the district as a hard-fought seat. Federal Election Commission data indicates that candidates for these congressional seats raised at least $19.6 million and spent $13.5 million during this election cycle.
