Equinix Launches AI Inference Exchange With Nvidia and Together AI

Equinix announced the launch of the Equinix Inference Exchange on September 2, 2026. The distributed AI inference service for global enterprises is scheduled to become available in the first quarter of 2027.

The service integrates Nvidia Enterprise Reference Architectures and Together AI’s inference platform across a network of more than 280 data centers. This collaboration represents the third AI-infrastructure partnership between Equinix and Nvidia in 2026, following previous joint efforts with Cisco and HPE.

Equinix shares rose approximately 2% following the announcement, recovering from a near 20-day low. The company has not yet disclosed specific pricing, capacity commitments, or anchor customers for the new service.
