Bitdeer AI Secures 60MW Data Center Facility in Malaysia

Bitdeer AI signed an eight-year agreement for a 60MW AI Cloud facility in Malaysia, bringing the company to 95% of its 350MW capacity target.

Bitdeer AI, a subsidiary of Bitdeer Technologies Group, has entered into an eight-year data center services agreement for a 60MW AI Cloud facility in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. Designated as A103, the facility will be located on the same campus as the company's existing A101 and A102 sites, increasing the total campus capacity to approximately 71.5MW.

The A103 facility is designed for liquid-cooled, rack-scale NVIDIA systems, specifically including the Vera Rubin platform. It is expected to be energized in the first quarter of 2028. This expansion brings Bitdeer AI's total secured AI Cloud capacity across Malaysia, Norway, and the United States to approximately 333.5MW, which represents roughly 95% of its 350MW target for early 2028.

While the company estimates its active pipeline for AI Cloud capacity exceeds $10 billion, it reported that no offtake commitments have been signed for the A103 capacity as of October 8, 2026. Michael G. Potter, Chief Financial Officer of Bitdeer Technologies Group, noted that the proximity to existing facilities improves time-to-market by utilizing established power, cooling, and network infrastructure.
