Mette Frederiksen Rebuffs Plastic Surgeon's Unsolicited Beauty Advice

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen publicly rebuffed a male cosmetic surgeon who sent her a social media message offering to fix a spot on her nose. After returning from a trip to Kyiv, Ukraine, the 48-year-old leader shared a screenshot of the exchange on Instagram to criticize the superficial scrutiny female leaders face.

Frederiksen stated she is happy with her body and does not need a male plastic surgeon's opinion on her appearance. She noted that she frequently receives unsolicited messages regarding her teeth, hair, and skin, including suggestions to use Botox. While she described herself as generally fine with her body, she admitted to feeling "a little old-fashioned offended" by the intrusion.

In her response, Frederiksen encouraged other women to embrace self-acceptance. She urged the public to engage with her on more meaningful topics and important matters rather than her physical appearance.
