Nevada County Sets October 19 Voter Registration Deadline

The deadline to register for the November 3, 2026, General Election is Monday, October 19. Armando Salud-Ambriz, the Registrar of Voters, urged eligible citizens to register early to save time and avoid last-minute complications.
While voters who miss the October 19 deadline can still use same-day conditional voter registration at vote centers, officials noted that this alternative process requires additional review steps. Eligible voters include anyone turning 18 on or before Election Day, while students aged 16 and 17 are encouraged to pre-register.
Ballots were mailed to all registered voters on October 5 and are currently available for return.
